Big Blue Alumni is the brainchild of Tennessee State University alumna, Tara Hill (c/o 2010) and its sole mission is to provide fun and innovative ways to fellowship and help grow our university. As undergraduates, we were taught to "Think, Work, Serve" as we go forward in life and in all we do. Part of that service includes creating financial support to ensure that current and future Tigers have the opportunity to experience our beloved alma mater just as we did. The mission of Big Blue Alumni's Tiger Fest is to create an opportunity for alumni from various eras to fellowship while contributing to student scholarships. ​To uphold the University's motto we are thrilled to come together and party for a purpose as we do every year. This year we want to host the ultimate alumni reunion experience and begin this annual tradition of “partying for a purpose”. Our inaugural event is set to kick off Labor Day Weekend 2024, where we will curate a fun filled voyage that will not only broaden our alumni culturally but continue to bring us together and strengthen the support for our beloved HBCU. By strategically aligning ourselves with targeted partnerships and resources, we plan to grow those relationships, alongside the success of the event, year over year so that we can achieve our #1 goal…providing scholarships to students at Tennessee State University.
